Fight fans get ready to be entertained come June 2nd when recently signed Englebrecht Promotions & Events boxer Juan De Dios Avila out of Norwalk steps back into the ring to face 2-1 Gerardo Contreras Gonzalez from Las Vegas. If you were at our Feb 17th show you saw Aliva win in the Fight Of The Night as he took a UD win over Felipe Ruvalcaba. The fight against Gerardo Gonzalez on June 2nd is set for 6 rounds in the Super Lightweight Division. Start wadding your dollar bills now as we see this being a money fight!
Also back in boxing action on June 2nd is another recently signed Englebrecht Promotions & Events boxer Jesse “Lobito” Gonzalez. Lobito, trained by Henry Ramirez is now standing at 3-0, after a spectacular TKO win against Hugo Sanchez on our April show. Lobito is now set to take on Hawaii’s Matthew Majamay June 2nd. Lobito is gaining traction with the local fight fans with his style of fighting and is slowly becoming another FCOC fan favorite. This fight in the Middleweight Division is set for four rounds.
Francisco Casillas 2-0 out of Maywood, CA and trained by Mondo Huerta will meet Davaadalai Altangerel from Los Angeles, CA making his Professional Boxing Debut. Get ready for some relentless boxing action from the first ding of the bell as these lightweights will put on the 8oz gloves and go to battle.
If the June 2nd card isn't stacked enough how about a rematch between San Diego’s John Ornelas and Pomona’s Keith Carson who fought to a draw at our big October outdoor show in The Main Mall. The fight had fans on their feet and tossing over $200 into the ring to show their appreciation for the skill of both fighters. June 2nd is the Official Rematch and both fighters want to take home that "W".
