Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions hosted training sessions for the Los Angeles area media on Tuesday afternoon at the World-Famous Wild Card Boxing Gym. The media workouts included many of the world class and local fighters appearing on the Friday, December 13 event at the Chumash Casino Resort and broadcast globally on UFC FIGHT PASS®.
Among those participating were 2016 U.S. Olympian and Super Light Contender ‘King’ Karlos Balderas, (14-2, 12 KOs), Undefeated Welterweight Jorge Maravillo, (10-0, 8 KOs), Super Bantamweight Rising Star Angel ‘Apocalipto’ Carrillo, (3-0-1, 2 KOs), Featherweight Newcomer Fidencio Hernandez, (2-0, 2 KOs) and 11-Time National Champion, Women’s Super Flyweight Debuting Perla Bazaldua.
“It’s great to see the wealth of media here today for our Hollywood Fight Nights training,” said Tom Loeffler. “The fighters are in great shape following the Thanksgiving weekend and we’re looking to close out our 2024 in style on December 13 at Chumash Casino and having the fights broadcast globally on UFC Fight Pass.”

Hollywood Fight Nights is headlined by a can’t miss 10-round middleweight main event between Undefeated Contender Sadriddin Akhmedov, (14-0-0, 12 KOs), of Almaty, Kazakhstan now residing in Santa Monica, CA and Battle-Tested Veteran Raphael ‘Trouble’ Igbokwe, (17-5, 7 KOs), of Houston, TX.
Co-featured 2016 U.S. Olympian ‘King’ Karlos Balderas (14-2, 12 KOs), of nearby Santa Maria, CA will battle upset-minded Colombian veteran Cesar ‘Ras Tas Tas’ Villarraga, (11-10-1, 5 KOs) in a scheduled eight rounder. The fight will be Balderas’ debut under the 360 Promotions’ banner.
Headlining the undercard and returning to the Hollywood Fight Nights ring at Chumash Casino Resort for the fourth time, highly touted and undefeated welterweight rising star Jorge Maravillo, (10-0, 8 KOs), of Salinas, CA battles hard-hitting Damoni Cato-Cain, (8-1-1, 7 KOs), of Oakland, CA in an eight rounder. Fighting for the third time this year, Maravillo returns to action following a dominant, shut-out six-round decision over Jose Manuel Gomez on June 7, 2024. Cato-Cain hits ring following a fourth-round knockout of Juan Meza Moreno on November 4, 2023 in Daly City, CA.
Competing in the super featherweight division, Oxnard, CA native Angel ‘Apocalipto’ Carrillo, (3-0-1, 2 KOs), faces Joshua Torres, (0-1-2), in a scheduled four round bout. The 19-year Carrlllo returns to Hollywood Fight Nights after a third-round knockout of Josephat Navarro on August 31, 2024. Torres fought to a majority draw with highly touted prospect Javon Walton on March 2, 2024 in Puerto Rico.
In a four-round battle of undefeated featherweight newcomers, Fidencio Hernandez, (2-0, 2 KOs), of Oxnard, CA battles Josephat Navarro, (1-2-1), of Simi Valley, CA. Hernandez hits the ring following a first-round knockout of also undefeated Diego Dominguez on August 24, 2024.
19-year-old female amateur standout Perla Bazaldua of South Central, Los Angeles, CA will make her highly anticipated professional debut against Mollie Backowski, (0-3), of Golden, CA in a four-round super flyweight bout. Bazaldua is a 15-time national amateur champion trained by the renowned Manny Robles.
