Omar Trinidad kicked off his 2024 campaign on January 27 with an eighth-round knockout of cross-town rival Jose Perez. He followed up with a sensational tenth-round stoppage of Viktor Slavinskyi on July 26. Both fights featured two tide-turning knockdowns of his opponents and were fought in front of sold-out crowds at the Commerce Casino filled with Trinidad’s legion of supporters.
Currently riding a three-fight winning streak, Hector Sosa returns to action following a 12-round unanimous decision over hometown contender Keenan Carbajal on June 30, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2023, Sosa notched consecutive victories over James Dickens (KO-10) in Dubai on July 22 and an impressive 10-round decision over undefeated contender Laureano Sciuto on March 21 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
