Super lightweight Kenneth “Bossman” Sims Jr. (21-2-1, 8 KO's) of Chicago is set for his November 16 fight in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as he challenges Oscar Duarte (27-2-1, 22 KO's) on Riyadh Season and Golden Boy Promotions’ “Latino Night” undercard. Sims and Duarte will sqaure off in a 12-round super lightweight WBA title eliminator live on DAZN. Last week, the two fighters met face to face to announce the event they will be participating in.

“I’m at my best when I’m active so I’m grateful for this opportunity to get right back in the ring,” Sims said. “Duarte is a tough, durable fighter. I think he’s also a little one dimensional though so it’s my job to neutralize what he does well.”

Sims signed with Golden Boy Promotions in May as he made his Golden Boy debut on August 10 with a fifth-round stoppage over Jonathan Romero. In preparation for his bout with Duarte, Sims has been training in Las Vegas as the fight is a little over a month away.

“It was definitely hard to leave my family again so quickly. On the training side, it was good for me to get right back in to camp because one just rolled in to the next and I didn’t have to reset my mind and get in to camp mode because I was already there from my last fight,” Sims said.
