Mizuhika Hiruta vs. Maribel Ramirez Lands at Commerce Casino



Tom Loeffler’s 360 Promotions has announced a sensational Women’s World Title Fight for their highly anticipated Hollywood Fight Nights event on Friday, January 17 at the famed Commerce Casino Events Center in Los Angeles and broadcast live globally on UFC FIGHT PASS, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports.



Fighting in the ten-round co-main event, Japanese Boxing Star and WBO Super Flyweight World Champion Mizuki Hiruta, (6-0, 2 KOs), will make the third defense of her title against world ranked, Mexican contender Maribel ‘Pantera’ Ramirez, (15-10-4, 3 KOs). The fight marks Hiruta’s first fight in the United States.



“Mizuki Hiruta is a true star in Japan with all of her fights taking place in front of tremendous crowds at the famed Korakuen Hall and we’re very excited to have her U.S. debut on our January 17th Hollywood Fight Nights card,” said Tom Loeffler. “She has a true all-action, entertaining fighting style combined with a showbiz flair for her ring walks that our fans will truly appreciate. We expect a huge turnout of local Japanese boxing fans to support Mizuki.”



The 28-year-old Hiruta, trained by the renowned Manny Robles, won the world title in her fourth professional fight with a ten-round unanimous decision over Kanako Taniyama on December 1, 2022. The hard-hitting southpaw’s two world title defenses have come against Casey Croft (KO-1) on June 13, 2013 and Ji Hyun Park (TKO-6) on January 12, 2024.



The battle-tested Ramirez, making her third world title challenge, returns to action following a ten-round unanimous decision over hometown favorite Michelle Preston on July 18, 2024 in Auckland, NZ.



Headlining the January 17 Hollywood Fight Nights event, the Undefeated ‘King of Los Angeles Boxing’ Omar Trinidad, (17-0-1, 12 KOs), of Boyle Heights, CA making the third defense of his WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Title against ‘Magic’ Mike Plania, (31-4, 18 KOs), of General Santos City, Philippines over ten scheduled rounds. Trinidad is currently ranked #2 by the International Boxing Federation.
