New Jersey's undefeated former world champion Shakur Stevenson (15-0, 8 KO's) was dominant in taking a one-sided unanimous decision over Toka Kahn Clary (28-3, 19 KOs) of Liberia Saturday night in the super featherweight main event at the "Bubble" at MGM Grand Las Vegas. Stevenson was too much for Clary in dominating him for the entire ten rounds of the fight in route to the decision win. All three judges scored the bout 100-90.

Stevenson is the rated #1 contender for the WBO title and likely get a title shot at Jamel Herring.

Naktani Rallies to Stop Verdejo

Japan's Masayoshi Nakatani (19-1,13 KO's) rallied from two knockdowns in scoring a knockout over Puerto Rico's Felix "El Diamante" Verdejo (27-2, 17 KOs). Nakatani was down early in the opening round and then in the fourth. Verdejo boxed well and was well ahead on the scorecards until he was dropped a pair of times by the Japanese fighter Nakatani.

Big win for Nakatani as he looks to get another notable fight next.

Berlanga Continues KO Streak

Puero Rican super middleweight slugger Edgar Berlanga (16-0, 16KO's) extend his knockout streak against veteran Ulises Sierra (15-1-2, 9 KOs) of San Diego. Berlanga scores his sixteenth straight first round knockout.

LaVallais Ends Collard's Streak in Rematch

In a middleweight rematch Quincy LaVallais (10-0-1, 5 KOs) won an eight round unanimous decision over Clay Collard (9-3-3, 4 KOs). LaVallais was very slick boxing well throughout the fight as he outboxed the tough Collard in route to a decision win. The judges scored the bout 78-74, 77-75, and 77-75.

Other Bouts

Two-time Cuban Olympic gold medalistfeatherweight Robeisy Ramirez (6-1, 4 KOs) stopped Brandon Valdes (13-2, 7 KOs) in six. Ramirez dominated and Valdes was deducted a point as Ramirez finished him off forcing referee Russell Mora stopped it at 2:49 of the sixth.

Light flyweight Jesse Rodriguez (13-0, 9 KOs) scored a second round knockout against Saul Juarez (25-13-2, 13 KOs). A left uppercut is what did is as the referee waived it at 2:05.

Featherweight Haven Brady Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs) of Albany, Georgia stopped Michael Land (1-2, 1 KO) in two rounds.

Welterweight Kasir Goldston (2-0, 1 KO) TKO 2 Llewelyn McClamy (2-1, 1 KO)
